Dale Webb

Senior Vice President, Operations, Latin America

Dale Webb was appointed Senior Vice President, Operations, Latin America in 2024. He is responsible for Teck’s operating and non-operating assets, as well as the growth portfolio within the Latin America business unit.

Mr. Webb brings more than 25 years of international experience in the mining and smelting industry, with a strong track record of operational leadership across Canada, Europe, and Australia. Prior to rejoining Teck, he served as Co-Chief Executive Officer of Nyrstar, leading a multi-asset business with operations in several countries.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Webb spent over two decades with Teck, where he held a range of senior roles focused on operational excellence, project execution and business transformation. He has a long-standing connection to Teck’s Quebrada Blanca operation, having served as General Manager and later as General Manager, Operational Readiness for the QB2 Project in 2020.

Mr. Webb holds a Bachelor of Engineering from McGill University and a Master of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University.
