Maple Virtual Healthcare for Teck Employees

Teck is committed to supporting the health and wellness of our people. In support of this commitment, all employees in Canada now have access to Maple, Teck’s new virtual healthcare provider. Teck’s previous provider, Wello, has been acquired by Maple, Canada’s leading virtual healthcare platform. If you are already registered with Wello, your registration will not automatically transfer to Maple; you will need to register again with Maple via the instructions below (‘Getting Started with Maple’).

The transition will enhance virtual healthcare benefits for our employees, as Maple maintains Canada’s largest online provider network that includes doctors, physicians, and paramedical providers in addition to nurse practitioners, delivering more timely and convenient access to care.

Maple provides you and your family with the ability to:

  • Connect with a general practitioner in under 5 minutes

  • Get virtual care around the clock, 24/7, 365 days a year

  • Communicate via text, video, or audio

  • Receive advice, prescriptions (via pharmacy pickup or delivery within a few business days), labs and more

  • Access specialists and paramedical providers on the platform

  • Manage and store medical records

Primary care visits on Maple are fully covered and available on an unlimited basis. Specialist and paramedical provider visits are available for an out-of-pocket expense that may be reimbursed through Teck’s extended health benefits.

Getting Started with Maple

Employees in Canada will receive an email to their Teck email account from Maple, with a link and instructions on how to complete your personal Maple registration.
