Teck’s values of Courage, Integrity, Safety, Excellence, Sustainability and Respect guide us as a company. As a proudly Canadian company for over 100 years, we are honoured to support our nation’s athletes as they compete on the world stage and embody those same values in their performance on and off the field.
Through a partnership with the Canadian Olympic Committee Teck hosts the Teck Coaching Series, supporting athletic excellence and encouraging physical activity in local communities where we operate. The program, which has visited the B.C. communities of Sparwood, Trail and most recently Kamloops on December 5, 2016, includes a workshop for local coaches and an on-ice clinic for youth. The latest Teck Coaching Series featured four-time Olympic medallist Jennifer Botterill, Torino 2006 Olympian and former NHL player Marty Turco, and former Canadian Olympic Men’s Hockey Team Head, Tom Renney.
